Hello! I’m Su Chen, and I’m one of the many behind-the-scenes government workers working on land use policies and on the plan for Singapore’s urban landscape, many years into the future. I’m in the Programmes team, where I help to develop the thematic areas and content of the Youth Forum!
Why did you want to part of the youth forum organisation committee?
Always happy for an opportunity to contribute to the discourse on sustainability issues! I find the exchange of ideas between people from different backgrounds, different countries, very meaningful.
Why do you think the involvement of youth in the resolution of sustainability issues is essential for success?
Well… youths will feel the impacts of our actions today, and their voices are important to ensure we work towards creating a world that allows them to pursue their dreams and aspirations.
