Dr Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment and Manpower

Prior to his current appointments, Dr Koh held various positions at MOH, MTI, and MND. At MSE, Dr Koh oversees Singapore’s food safety and security. He also guides national efforts to combat marine litter and protect our coastlines from the threat of sea level rise.

The GCNS Youth Forum is designed for young leaders like YOU to take action on sustainability.

Our goal is simple: we aim to empower youths globally to co-create a better world.

Convened by the United Nations Global Compact Network Singapore, the local body that advances action and momentum on corporate sustainability, and spearheaded by youth volunteers, our Youth Forum on sustainability empowers youths to further their impact: whether as consumers, corporate employees, entrepreneurs, and/or civic leaders 💪🏻

So join us, gain insights on sustainability and pick up career-boosting skillsets along the way!The Forum is open and complimentary for all youths aged 18 – 35.

● Speak with over 20 influential speakers to discuss on the challenges and ideas that youths have for a sustainable world
300+ delegates from ASEAN countries will come together to exchange knowledge and collaborate in SDG activities to understand the importance of sustainable efforts around the regions
● Join us for site visits in Singapore to learn about the efforts companies are putting in place in preparation for the SG Green Plan 2030 and opportunity to take part in virtual marketplace

GCNS Youth Forum will look into important community issues and address them through plenary sessions and workshops.

About GCNS Youth Forum 2023:

GCNS Youth Forum is back! The Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS) Youth Forum 2023 will bring together youths aged between 18 – 35 from around the region. This year, the theme is “Leaders of Tomorrow: How Youths can Forge their Own Path in Sustainability”. The central theme aims to equip delegates with a deeper knowledge on sustainability, as well as to inspire delegates to take a vital role in the future as thought-leaders and change makers.

Through plenary sessions, panel discussions, and workshops, delegates will have a chance to gain insights into different roles that are vital to achieving sustainable development, whether as consumers, corporate employees, entrepreneurs, and/or civic leaders.
